  • 12 oz Pasta e.g., fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Fresh peas Frozen peas can be used as a substitute
  • 1 whole Lemon Zest and juice
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated (Plus more for serving)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh basil chopped (Optional)

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add fresh peas to the skillet and cook for a few minutes until tender.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice, stirring to combine.
  5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  6. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  7. Serve with additional Parmesan cheese and chopped basil if desired.
