Ingredients
  

Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings drumettes and flats
Peach Habanero Sauce
  • 2 cups fresh peaches peeled and diced
  • 2 habanero peppers habanero peppers seeds removed for less heat
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Method
 

Prepare the Wings
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a blender, combine the diced peaches, habanero peppers, white vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary, adding more honey for sweetness or more habanero for heat.
Bake the Wings
  1. Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until crispy and cooked through.
  2. During the last 5 minutes of baking, brush the wings generously with the peach habanero sauce.
Serve
  1. Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
  2. Serve hot with extra peach habanero sauce on the side.

Notes

For a milder sauce, reduce the number of habanero peppers or substitute with jalapeños.
