Method
Prepare the Macaron Shells

- Bake for 15 minutes, then let cool completely before removing from the parchment.
Prepare the Filling
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
- Add heavy cream and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
Assemble the Macarons
- Pair the macaron shells by size and spread or pipe the filling onto the flat side of one shell.
- Top with another shell, pressing gently to adhere.
- Let the assembled macarons sit in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours for the best flavor.
