Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Roll out dough to about half an inch thick on a floured surface and cut into heart shapes using cookie cutters. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are firm but centers remain soft. Cool on wire racks before decorating.
