Ingredients

Fluffy Cream Cheese Base
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch fine sea salt
Caramel & Toffee Topping
  • 3/4 cup caramel sauce thick style
  • 1/2 cup English toffee bits Heath bits
  • 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips optional
  • 1/4 tsp flaky sea salt for finishing
For Serving & Dipping
  • 3 large fresh apples sliced into wedges
  • 1 box pretzel crisps and graham crackers

Method

Whip the Base
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium-high speed for 2 minutes until completely smooth, light, and lump-free.
  2. Add the packed light brown sugar, powdered sugar, pure vanilla extract, and pinch of fine sea salt. Beat on medium speed for an additional 1 to 2 minutes until the sugars dissolve and the base is light and fluffy.
Assemble & Layer
  1. Transfer the whipped cream cheese mixture into a shallow 8-inch or 9-inch ceramic pie dish, wide shallow serving bowl, or serving platter. Use an offset spatula or back of a spoon to spread it into an even layer, creating a slight rim around the edges to hold the caramel.
  2. Pour the thick caramel sauce evenly over the top of the cream cheese layer, gently spreading it towards the edges.
Garnish & Serve
  1. Generously scatter the Heath toffee bits and mini semi-sweet chocolate chips across the caramel layer. Finish with a delicate pinch of flaky Maldon sea salt over the top.
  2. Arrange fresh sliced tart green Granny Smith apples, sweet Honeycrisp wedges, pretzel crisps, and graham crackers around the platter and serve immediately, or chill covered until party time!
