Ingredients
  

Batter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk whole or 2%
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Fruits
  • 1 cup fresh cherries pitted and halved
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
Topping
  • powdered sugar for dusting optional

Method
 

Prepare the Batter
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  2. Gradually add the flour, whisking until smooth and free of lumps.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Grease a baking dish with butter. Pour half of the batter into the dish.
  2. Evenly distribute the cherries and blueberries over the batter. Pour the remaining batter on top of the fruits.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the clafoutis is puffed and golden brown.
Serve
  1. Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar. Serve warm or at room temperature.
