Ingredients
  

Beef and Vegetables
  • 1 pound beef sirloin sliced thinly against the grain
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup carrots sliced thinly
  • 1 cup snap peas
Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch for thickening
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the beef sirloin thinly against the grain and set aside.
  2. Prepare all vegetables by washing and slicing them as indicated.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  3. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, carrots, and snap peas to the wok and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch with a little water to create a sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce over the stir-fried beef and vegetables, stirring well to combine and cook for an additional minute.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
